Almost a week away, fellow campers!Here is a sneak peak of how things will flow next Saturday. Remember, we plan the day as we go so we don’t have to be strict to the schedule below.

Schedule

12:00 – 13:30 Session-setup & Introductions
13:30 – 15:00 First set of Sessions and Workshops
15:00 – 16:00 Break
16:30 – 19:30 Afternoon Sessions and Workshops
19:30 – 20:00 Wrap up20:00 – after party?

Attendees

We have 40+ fellow campers signed up so far. Many more are to come though that haven’t signed up on our sites. If you have friends, coworkers that would enjoy/benefit from the camp, let them know! There is still time

Sessions

We have an interesting blend of sessions and would like to encourage you to sign up for one if you haven’t already. You can even sign up the day of the event. No worries.

Precamping event the day before.There will be a precamping event the afternoon/evening on Friday, the 22nd. You are invited! Location and time TBD.

Sponsorship opportunitiesWe will be printing t-shirts early next week, that will include the MediaCamp logo on the front and all sponsors on the back. The t-shirts will be given out for free to MediaCamp attendees. To have your site / logo on the shirt each sponsor will share the total t-shirt production cost. If you are interested in being a sponsors of the t-shirt, contact us at info@mediacamp.grIn other news, earlier today we were notified that our friends at Wadja were awarded Internet Service of the Year on the 2007 Tech Excellence awards by the Greek T3 magazine. Venue Announcement!We are proud to share with you campers that Media Camp Athens ‘08 will take place AKTO, the Art & Design College. It is located at Kranaou 3 near Koumoundourou Square in Psyrri, Athens. If you are using the Metro, or Train you will get off at Monastiraki station. More details on directions soon, on the Venue page.AKTO is kind enough to let us use their facilities and equipment during the duration of the camp on Saturday, Feb 23rd, 2008. It’s such a great, hip area in Athens and we are happy to find an educational institution in order to attract students as attendees as well.Είμαστε περήφανοι για την αίθουσα του ! Το ΑΚΤΟ θα μας παραχωρήσει το χώρο που χρειαζόμαστε καθώς και τεχνικό εξοπλισμό. Το ΑΚΤΟ βρίσκεται στην οδό Κραναού 3, στην πλατεία Κουμουνδουρου, στο Ψυρρί. :: Volunteers :: Εθελοντές :: Hello campers!We will be formally announcing our venue spot early next week but until then we would like to shout out to you for volunteers! We will be needing volunteers to assists us in things like documenting the event (photos, video, live streaming), sign-in time, setting up and anything else that pops up. Please lend a hand if you could.Εθελοντές! Ψάχνουμε εθελοντές αγαπητοί campers. Αν μπορείτε να μας βοηθήσετε κατά τη διάρκεια του camp θα το εκτιμούσαμε πάρα πολύ! Χρειαζόμαστε βοήθεια με την οργάνωση των εγκαταστάσεων και με την κάλυψη του event μεσώ φωτογραφιών, βίντεο και λοιπά. Ενημερώστε μας αν ενδιαφέρεστε. Επίσης, θα σας ενημερώσουμε σχετικά με την αίθουσα του camp την επόμενη εβδομάδα.
